TAX CONCESSIONS
A tax credit of up to € 710
When you purchase a burglar-resistant sectional door add a part of the price against your taxes, with a maximum of up to 710 euro per dwelling.
Conditions:
- • The supply and the fitting of the certified motor with safety kit must be itemized separately on the invoice, as this is the only way you will qualify for a tax credit (Royal Decree dd. 27/07/2009)
- • The garage door may not feature any windows however as this would affect the door’s resistance and would render the security certificate invalid
- The date that defines the tax year against which you can offset your expenses is the date of payment and not the invoicing date .
- The work must be carried out by a registered contractor, such as L-DOOR.
- This measure only applies to private individuals in Belgium, who either own or have a long-term lease on or are the holder of a superficies, a usufructuary or tenant of the dwelling for which the expense is incurred.
- You must be in a position to submit the following documents:
- Invoices for the expenses incurred
- Proof of payment
