Obstruction sensor

To guarantee the safety of your loved ones, every L-DOOR garage door is automatically fitted with an obstruction sensor. This sensor ensures that the door stops automatically when it meets with an obstruction during closing and that it also reverts back a couple of centimetres so that whatever lies in its track can be removed.

Spring-break device

Your door’s springs are custom-made, to suit the weight and the dimensions of your door. However, springs will always be subject to normal wear and tear. To protect you, as user, and your garage door in the event a spring were to break, your garage door is also fitted with a spring-break device.

Photo-electric cell guard

The L-DOOR ‘Eagle Eye’ photocell combines safety with user-friendliness. This photocell emits an infra-red beam which runs across the bottom of your door. As soon as the beam is broken while the door is closing, the door will automatically open up again. This optional device also allows you to close your door automatically.

Anti-finger trap guard

Thanks to the anti-finger trap guard there is absolutely no way that fingers can get trapped between the panels of your sectional door.
