L-DOOR 4 GREEN

L-DOOR is trying to reduce its carbon footprint and does so in 4 ways:

1. The L-DOOR head office is located at the completely decontaminated site of the former Denderbeton. Constructions such as concrete slabs, buildings and the quay wall were dismantled and the soil was purified and decontaminated.

2. L-DOOR derives 72% of its power from solar energy generated via solar panels located on its 5000-m² roof. You can follow the amount of energy stored live on the website’s home page.

3. The Nature Line Green Concept is a "green" product. Nature Line sectional doors are clad with timber cladding boards that carry the FSC label. Once secured, they are protected with a solvent-free coat of varnish made of natural materials.

4. Production at L-DOOR invariably keeps the environment in mind. Our fitters always ensure that they don’t leave any litter behind on any site. All the waste they generate is neatly sorted at head office and then recycled.

L-DOOR also intends to make extra further green efforts in the future.
